How long does it take to change out the compressor given that you have one on hand?

I’m thinking about waiting or finding a liftto and from if I leave it.

Ms. Laura,
Thank you for your request for a repair estimate. I could give you a low ball figure, but I won’t because that would be doing you a huge disservice.

I suggest that during the head gasket replacement we replace the thermostat, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cylinder head gasket set, cylinder head bolts (due to one time use, design of bolts), new oil, new coolant, and new oil filter.

That being said, the cost as quoted would be $1140 plus machine shop charges.
