2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 model- ABS Malfunction

ABS light on randomly.  Brake pedal pulsed against foot when coming to a slow stop.

Scan test with Modis diagnostic device.  Found code for left front wheel speed sensor error.  Begin manual diagnostics. Check for condition of ABS Sounding ring, no problems found. Check for wiring problem with ABS sensor circuit, no problems found.  Found ABS to have been damaged, plastic housing was cracked and sensor face was damaged.  Replace sensor, reset PCM. Road test.  GOOD FIX!
